Hey there people, Jay here. Writing. Yay!

Anyway, any who read my last post may be wondering, in this fictional world I've created by the name of Somnos, is how the hell people are fighting battles over futuristic technology without guns or missiles. The answer?
 
I wanted a world without gunpowder and combustion engines. One in which alternative paths of weaponry, transport and power generation exist. So basically magnetic propulsion and such became the staples for a society that never had black powder, automobiles or rockets. I imagine a kind of steampunk swords and sorcery that uses the nature of the human mind as its sci-fi element. Even the Queen of Wands and her love for overwrought, Tim Burton-esque imagery, or the sword wielding protagonist (the Page of Swords or the Hanged Woman may serve as this, not certain who I like more) all harken to this idea of modern ideals and concepts in a world we may find backwards.

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone's interested in me posting the story in bits, on here. I like the idea as an experiment in active storytelling and all, but if no-one's into it I'd just waste time. So tell me. Share the love.
