Seriously, I hope you're all having a nice christmas or whatever you celebrate at this time of year. Despite having gotten the flu and being stressed over life/work hours/pay at the moment, I've had a good time. I got many nice gifts in advance, some much appreciated and needed money, and have had some nice social events to keep me occupied.

Today was nice in that I spent it exploring the city and hanging out with Alex the otter, a friend I always like to catch up with but rarely find the time to do so. It was one of those times where you quietly enjoy something, and find yourself walking away feeling inexplicably better for having done so.

I'm currently capable of ignoring the ensuing dramas and stress, which is great, so all I have to worry about is illness and no sleep... hmmm, not too unusal then. So wishing you all well, and that things improve in the ensuing new year.
