I had a small get together for my 21st birthday at the Royal Oak Hotel in Balmain last night, with dustandfox, Lupie, Harley, Temba and Ranardath, indulging my taste for red wine and contemporary Australian food (read: pub grub). I won't do my usual food review, simply to say one can't argue with a 300g, 150-day grain fed Angus beef scotch fillet, or a chocolate fudge cake with white chocolate gelato.

Otherwise I got a great set of Derwent Graphitint pencils and a shirt from Gallery Serpentine from Dustan and his wolf, and on Saturday a lovely bunch of cocon-... err chocolates from aussiehusky. I'm not the type to expect gifts or anything (having grown up on a Latvian commune dedicated to the worship of the potato, the only gifts I received were either potatoes resembling our annointed leader, or McDonalds fries served in a gold plated chalice) and so my thanks go to you guys.

I have more to say, but I have to go to work, and it's not directly related to this little update, so I'll see you back here, same Fear time, same Fear station!

Hey there all, just wanting to wish Temba (liontemba) a happy 19th birthday, went to his celebration last night and spent at least 5 nights in it. It was good catching up with everybody too, now all I need to do is find the portions of my brain that ran away in self defence last night and drag them along to work with me.
